On the land of Te Rangatapu Trust, overlooking Ōhawe beach, the mouth of the Waingongoro river and the expanse of Tasman Sea, South Taranaki's Marine Frame stands. 

Join the South Taranaki Underwater Club and Project Reef Team at the Ohawe Marine Frame & learn about life off of this coastline.

Members from the Project Reef team and South Taranaki Underwater Club extend a warm invitation to join them at the Marine Frame on the first Sunday of every month, anytime between 2pm-4pm.  This informal gathering provides an opportunity for locals and visitors of all ages to connect with each other, sharing experiences and stories of the local marine environment and to hear about some of the offshore reef research the Project team has done over the past nine years and aims to do in the future.
