Members from the Project Reef team and South Taranaki Underwater Club extend a warm invitation to join them at the Ōhawe Marine Frame on the first Sunday of every month, anytime between 2pm-4pm. This informal gathering provides an opportunity for locals and visitors of all ages to connect with each other, sharing experiences and stories of the local marine environment and to hear about some of the offshore reef research the Project team has done over the past nine years and aims to do in the future.
Making the Marine Frame
The coordination of this project, from conception to completion, reflects the heartwarming spirit of collaboration and support within the community. Planning for the Marine Frame commenced in mid-2022, with instalment completed in October 2023. This video showcases many of those involved and acknowledges the valued support of the Te Rangatapu Trust for this community initiative.
